I’ve done the research, polled my devoted, in-the-know Facebook community, and even taste-tested some places myself. Brunch is serious business, and I really want this to be your go-to guide to the best brunch in Frederick, just like my post on the best breakfasts in Frederick

And let me tell you – Frederick does not disappoint when it comes to brunch. There’s something for everyone, from cozy cafés serving up the fluffiest pancakes to trendy downtown spots with fancy breads and wines.

1. Vintage Restaurant Brunch Buffet

I’d like to start with a little restaurant that’s special to me, Vintage Restaurant. They have the most incredible Sunday brunch buffet on offer from 10:00 am. 

They serve all the classic breakfast favorites, and you can sip on bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, or even an espresso martini. It’s definitely one of the best brunch places in Frederick.

1. White Rabbit Gastropub

White Rabbit Gastropub in Frederick offers a lovely brunch experience with dishes like Chicken & Waffles and Breakfast Poutine. Even better, they’ve got over 40 craft beers on tap!

2. Truth & Beauty

Truth & Beauty has lots of creative dishes, like their “Glazed and Confused Burger,” which has a glazed donut bun, bacon, and an over-easy egg.

3. The Wine Kitchen on the Creek

I’m particularly fond of The Wine Kitchen on the Creek. Their menu changes with the seasons, so you’re always in for something fresh and delicious. 

I’m a sucker for their buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy — just so good! And, of course, a brunch here isn’t complete without a mimosa or one of thier strong Bloody Marys.

4. Ragin’ Reef

You know how much I love seafood, and if I want it for Brunch then Ragin’ Reef is usually my fist choice!

Their Crab Benny – jumbo lump crab topped with hollandaise – is absolutely incredible. And the best part? $2 mimosas and Bloody Marys to go with it. Yes, please!

5. JoJo’s Restaurant & Tap House

Brunch at JoJo’s feels like a treat every time. Their Brunch Burger is quite unique – a juicy burger topped with a crab cake, poached egg, and hollandaise on a brioche bun. It’s decadent but SO good. There’s also 26 rotating beers on tap!

6. Isabella’s Taverna & Tapas Bar

If you want something different, Isabella’s serves up Spanish-style brunch in Frederick that’s absolutely delicious. 

I’ve tried their Chorizo, Caramelized Onion & Manchego Omelet and I loved it. They’ve also got some great Spanish Fried Eggs that come with with Almond Crust!

7. Hootch & Banter

I love the cozy vibes at Hootch & Banter, and their brunch never disappoints. The Old Bae Crab Benedict – crab cakes, poached eggs, and Old Bay hollandaise – is one of my absolute favorites. 

And for the extra hungry, the Breakfast Prime Burger is loaded with all the good things – bacon, a sunny-side-up egg, cheddar, and crispy shallots.

8. Cafe Nola

Cafe Nola is a longtime favorite for brunch in Frederick. I tried their Italian Benedict – poached eggs, prosciutto, and pesto – and loved it. Their Chesapeake Benedict with crab cakes and Old Bay hollandaise is perfect if you want some seafood.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, their French Toast with fruit compote is the way to go!

9. Bushwaller’s Pub and Restaurant

If you want hearty, Irish-style brunch, Bushwaller’s is the place. Their Irish Breakfast comes with banger sausage, eggs, Irish bacon, soda bread, and more, and it’s the perfect comfort meal.

The Banger Gravy & Biscuits is another winner, and they even have $4 Bloody Marys to wash it all down.

10. The Tasting Room

If you’re in the mood for a more upscale brunch, The Tasting Room is the place to be. Their Lobster Chowder is rich and creamy, and I love their Tuna Tartare.

Their fancy cocktail menu makes it one of the best brunch places in Frederick for special occasions.

11. Showroom (Formerly Family Meal)

Showroom is a modern spot that serves brunch every day! Their cheddar chive biscuits look amazing, and I loved their chicken & waffles. 

They also sell boozy milkshakes – the perfect mix of dessert and cocktail!

12. Oscar’s Alehouse (West)

Oscar’s Alehouse is a fun, laid-back spot that serves a solid Sunday brunch in Frederick MD. Their Eggs Chesapeake – poached eggs on crab cakes with hollandaise – is a must-try.

They also have $5 Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Orange Crushes, which makes brunch here even better!

13. Madrone’s

Madrone’s is one of those cozy brunch spots where you always leave happy and full. You just have to try their Funky Monkey Bread – it’s so sweet and amazing. 

Of course, brunch isn’t complete without a drink! Their Madrone’s Cosmopolitan Mix is my favorite.

14. Ricci Italian Restaurant

Ricci’s has a pretty extensive brunch menu, so if you want brunch the Italian way, this is the place to go. Their Buon Giorno Breakfast comes with andouille sausage, two eggs, and a side of pork belly bourbon – doesn’t it sound delicious!

A good Italian brunch always calls for a drink! They have a great selection of Italian wines and some really tasty signature cocktails. It’s also one of the best brunch places in Frederick with bottomless mimosas.

15. Atlantic Grille

You’ll find Atlantic Grille in southern Frederick County. I remember their Crab Dip well. It was creamy, cheesy, and lived up to my high expectations – I could honestly eat it by the spoonful.

The staff is always friendly, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to unwind and enjoy good food. If you’re looking for the best brunch in Maryland, this could be your spot.

16. Silver Diner

Silver Diner serves classic diner food with a bit of a modern twist. I tried their Spinach, Mushroom, and Feta Omelette when I was there and it was delicious!

I always love pairing brunch with a good cup of coffee. They also have quite the range of signature milkshakes – because why not have dessert with breakfast?

17. Monocacy Crossing

I think Monocacy Crossing is a bit of a hidden gem, and I especially love their outdoor seating. 

Their lunch offerings are pretty upscale. I tried their Crispy Deviled Eggs with Colossal Crab, which were quite special. 

They have a dress code, so remember to dress smart casual (or, as they describe, “yacht flare”).

Dutch’s Daughter is a classic Frederick spot that’s perfect for a fancier brunch. I love their crab cakes – they’re really packed with fresh lump crab meat and just the right amount of seasoning.

19. Tropix Pots Cuisines Bar & Grill

Tropix Pots is the place to go if you’re craving some authentic Caribbean flavors. Their Reggae Brunch on weekends is full of energy, with reggae music and plenty of bold dishes. I tried the Ackee & Saltfish, and it was so good – perfectly seasoned and super fresh.

And if you love a good brunch cocktail, their Rum Punch is nice and strong.

Vintage Restaurant is quite the charming brunch spot. If you love comfort food, their Chicken Pot Pie really hits the spot. 

I think it’s one of best places for a laid-back Sunday meal in Frederick.

21. Wilcom’s Inn

Wilcom’s Inn is a cozy, tucked-away spot that serves a great weekend brunch in Frederick MD. Their Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes are packed with fresh crab and have just the right amount of seasoning – and I should know!

They also have a solid wine list and brunch cocktails with $2 refills (yes, really).

22. Mount Airy Inn

The Mount Airy Inn doesn’t have a separate brunch menu, but they do serve up American breakfast classics all day. I tried their Steak Oscar – tender steak topped with crab meat and hollandaise sauce. It really lived up to expectations. 

They also have a great selection of craft beers. It’s the kind of Frederick brunch place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a good meal – and the prices are pretty reasonable too!

The Main Cup is a cozy, small-town spot that serves a great weekend brunch in Maryland. They’ve got all the brunch classics, like Chicken & Waffles and Avocado Toast.
